What is a WhatsApp broker (BSP)?
It's a company authorized by Meta to provide access to the official WhatsApp API. Talkz is the bridge: you integrate with our API and we take care of the connection with Meta, the infrastructure and the platform's rules.
How is it different from the WhatsApp Business app?
The app is made for manual use, on one phone. The API is for systems: it sends and receives messages at scale, integrates with your CRM, ERP or chatbot and lets several agents share the same number.
Can I use the number I already have?
Yes. If it's on the WhatsApp app or with another provider, we handle the migration. The number only needs to receive an SMS or call for the verification code.
How much does it cost?
You pay Meta's rate per delivered message, which varies by category and by the recipient's country, plus the Talkz fee. The first 1,000 service messages each month, per number, are free.
What is the 24h window?
Every time the customer sends a message, a 24-hour window opens. Within it, you reply in free form. Outside it, you can only start the conversation with an approved template.
Can my number get blocked?
The official API follows Meta's policies. If you only message people who opted in and send relevant content, the risk is low. Meta tracks the number's quality, and we help you keep that rating high.
How long does it take to get started?
Connecting the number through Meta's sign-up is done the same day. Business verification and template approval depend on Meta and usually take from a few hours to a few days.
